Very surprised this is missing but yeah I'll start. Drove to Maryland/DC Friday night and miss the first Mets no-hitter. Johan Santana is the man and I'm surprised my Mets are tied for first place now. They're fun to watch right now but I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Still think Washington will win the NL East though.

i really dont like how much people are saying the no-hitter was bullshit over beltrans foul. its not like it was blatantly fair, and id guess thats a 50/50 call if its made 100 times. so happy for santana and the mets.

It was an incredibly close ball to call. Was it fair, yes, did we need super slo-mo with high def to realize it? yes. I understand that soemtimes umps blow calls, but that was far from a blown call, it wasnt obvious in any way.

^ Holy crap that was bad! Yeah I'm glad the general consensus is that the Beltran foul ball isn't a big deal. I feel the Cardinals had over 3 innings to make that moot and didn't. I'm not with Mets fans right now saying Santana/Dickey is the best 1-2 in baseball but I'm enjoying this ride.
Anything going to come out of the Blue Jays/Red Sox beanfest?

Anything going to come out of the Blue Jays/Red Sox beanfest? As a Sox fan, hopefully they'll put Bard back in the pen. That's what I'm hoping comes out of it. As far as the league doing anything, I doubt they will.
